These two adorable doggys were fun to watch. They were here for 6 days. They kept me on my toes for sure. They are very different dogs. Spencer is a sweet, loving, cuddly, energetic and happy dog, who barks when he hears any sound. Ellie is a little timid and skittish but also sweet and and very cuddly, she was on my lap a lot! Ellie was also nervous about going outside for some reason and had some accidents in the house. She eventually went out side, towards the end of her stay with me. They loved sleeping on my bed with me and in the morning, they are both sooo snugly!! I loved our morning routine. I would let them out, feed them their breakfast, and they would come back onto the bed and be lazy with me until I had to get ready for work.

I have also started a wall of fame, every dog that stay here goes on the wall. I cant wait till the wall is full. My sweet Casey is in the middle because she started the business with me.

I am so excited, I finally ordered my shed!!! It will be here in July!! Cant wait to clear out some things in my house and put away all my yard stuff like the lawn mower and other stuff.
Also, the company that I have been with, for 19 years, is going through some rough times currently. We were all told that something is going on, but no decisions have been made yet. I am feeling a lot of emotions right now. I am not freaking out or scared for myself. I am very sad for the owners of the company, who built a successful business back in 1991. This is the longest that I have been at any job by far. Since I started in 2000, the company has grown so much. I was there and was a major part of a big addition to the company when they created a 2nd brand. That 2nd brand has really taken off in the last 9 years, and I am proud that I was there at the start.
For the first 9 years, I worked at the office, and for the last 10 years, I have been fortunate enough to work from home. This allowed me to move, out of state, and still have a job. I have seen lots of people come and go but those of us, that have been there for 10, 15, 20 years, have created good friendships. We have been there for each other, during happy and sad moments in our lives, outside of work. I am very grateful for the friends I have made. Thank you Elizabeth, Linda, Denise, Renee and Janine for being there when I needed it. Your friendship means so much to me. We sure have seen a lot together over the years.
So as we all await the outcome. we are optimistic that everything will work out. Stay tuned…
And finally, I have been in Rhode Island for 2 years now!! I cant believe it. I have done and seen a lot but there is so much more to see and do. It is so beautiful here, I love being near the water. I continue to walk with the meetup group and have made some good friends with some great women. I have done a lot of antiquing with my cousin, gone to some great art festivals, been to Waterfire multiple times(so amazing),as well as seen some great bands perform,(I love my music!). I have eaten at some great restaurants. Fun fact, did you now that Providence, Rhode Island has the most restaurants per capita then any other city?? Washington, DC is a strong competitor.
I started Lynne’s Doggy BnB a year ago as well! What fun that has been and the extra money isn’t bad either. I have read about other rover sitters who do it for a living but I am not sure I am ready for that yet. I have been able to make extra payments toward my dept and I my goal is to have 2 major bills paid off by the end of the year.
I am very happy here and love when people visit, so please come to Rhode Island and I will show you a great time!
Thank you for reading and Stay tuned…

I think we visited Rhode Island when I was young after passing it on the freeway. Isn’t that the smallest state ever?
