I hope that everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Mine was good, small with family.

In today’s news…

*I have a kidney stone.

*One of my sisters is dealing with a serious health issue.

Thankfully, I am from a large family, so my sister has a ton of love and support as she starts her journey. They were all there for me when I was going through my life changing moment and I am forever grateful.

OUCH!!! Last Tues, at midnight, I woke up in a lot of pain, lower back, right side. I never felt this before. I didn’t know what to do, should I go to the hospital? I took some ibuprofen, put some ice on the area and I made it through the night.

I got an appointment with my Dr. Wed morning and was able to get a CT scan as well and there it was, a 3 mm stone, still in my kidney.  I was told to drink lots of fluids and continue to take the ibuprofen for any pain. So far, I have not been in any pain and I am drinking so much now. I had a follow up appointment with my Dr this week and he wants me to see a urologist to make sure all is good.

I am excited for a repeat doggy guest this weekend. Marley is coming back! He will also be coming back again, later in December as well. Since I started with Rover.com in May, I have watched 12 dogs. Some repeats. My goal is to at least double that in 2019.
