A last minute Doggy guest Lucy

I got a call at 3 pm on Friday from a women, from out of state, who was visiting her daughter for the day.

Rhode Island is a very dog friendly state, but the restaurant they had planned to go for dinner, did not allow dogs.

She wanted to leave her dog from 4-9 and of course I was happy to accommodate her.

So this little cutie arrived….

This is Lucy, a 1 year old Shih Tzu. She was such a sweetie!!! She settled in so easily and we had a great 5 hours together.

And then Lucy’s mommy sent me this review;

“Lynne was fantastic! Took great care of Lucy and sent updates and pics. Really made me feel comfortable leaving her. Would definitely use her again.”

I love meeting new people and spending time with all these different dogs!

My phone is really start to ring a lot with dog bookings. I just got 2 more new requests! I think its going to be a busy summer!!!

Also, this weekend was beautiful!

Saturday afternoon, I went to the Cliff Walk in Newport RI. This is another MUST SEE if you are in the area.

Saturday night, my 93 year old Uncle, a World War II veteran, was honored at the local baseball stadium. They called him and his daughter(my cousin), out to the field and introduced him and the crowd went wild!!! We all got treated like VIP’s and got to stay in the owners box for the whole game. Such a great honor for him. What an amazing night!
