Wow, what a year!
Let me recap;
January…..Sold my house in PA, only took 3 months to sell. House hunting.
February…..Packing and house hunting.
March……Packing, Made offer on new house and offer accepted! House hunting.
April…..Wisdom teeth taken out, major downsizing and found new home for 2 out of 3 of my pets, very sad. Packing.
May…..Closing on PA house and RI house. MOVE!!
June…..Getting settled in new home and my Surroundings, Fixing up new house.
July…..Exploring new state, beautiful summer, so much to see!
August…..more exploring, visits from family and friends.
September…..meeting new people, making new friends, experiencing new things.
October…..the biggest viewing month of my blog in the 3 years I have been writing….over 5600 views the week of the 10/9! Amazing how one entry on a very large Facebook group created such a buzz on my blog.
November…..6 months since I moved, wow, time flies when you are busy and in a new place. Also, first time in my life that I was not with my mom and sisters for Thanksgiving, spent it with my family here but it definitely wasn’t the same!
December…..First snow and frigid temps, the New England weather has arrived. Also, first time I was not with my mom and sisters for Christmas, spent it with family here and again, I missed everyone from home a lot!
All in all, a good and busy year. I am getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things, like going to a party where I didn’t know anyone before I walked in the door.
I have been walking a lot, even in this cold, which is good for me, it gets me out of the house and allows me to meet some really nice people. The water views are so beautiful.
Unfortunately, as the year draws to an end, my sweet 13 year old dog Casey is really starting to show signs of her age, Pacing around the house, like she is lost, and her back legs are failing. I will do my best to keep her comfortable.
I am looking forward to what 2018 has to bring! My goal is to make a good dent on my debt. I am working on an idea that could really help, more details to follow.
I want to thank all who have been reading my blog. It’s nothing earth shattering but it has helped me to stay as positive as I can and I hope I can help others do the same.
Hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year!
What a busy, fruitful year! Hope 2018 is wonderful.
