Mini vacation

I went on a 4 night trip to Washington DC, to celebrate my birthday. .

I stayed at a nice bed and breakfast, http://www.bedandbreakfastdc.com/accommodations/brumidi-b-b

I got there Thursday night and settled in.

Friday, I went to the Smithsonian National Zoo.

Saturday, my niece, who goes to GW, was my personal tour guide and showed me all the monuments.

 

Saturday, I also went to the Smithsonian Air and Space museum.

Sunday, my birthday, I went to the Smithsonian American History museum, Natural History museum and the Botanical gardens.

 

I used Uber every day and that was awesome! I walked a ton!! I ate at some good restaurants!  And I lucked out and had very decent weather, considering it is December. All and all, it was a fun birthday weekend.

I am dealing with some backlash because of my glitter prank. Hopefully this will come to an end soon. I do not regret what I did, it felt so good.
