I’m still here

It’s been a while since I have written a post, August to be exact. I have been side tracked by a lot of things. It is time for a recap.

On the dog front, In August, I had 3 overnight guests, Maggie twice and Sukey.

September, I had 2 over night guests, Charlie and Maggie

October, Maggie was here again.

I have also decided to take a break from dog boarding. I have been watching dogs for over 4 years now. The dogs are great company, when I am alone, and the extra money is great. But now that I am in a relationship, I want to be able to come and go when I please. I have a couple more boarding commitments this year and next, which I will honor. I have met some great people and dogs. I will continue to offer day care, on weekdays, but I want my weekends free.

I have been keeping busy with my art and photography. 2 more of my photos are in a exhibit at the local gallery. I chose a “reflection” theme.

I had another art show in my back yard in September. I went all out and invested in a 10’x20′ tent. I worked for months and made a lot of new things. The show went well. I am already planning on having another one next spring.

My new magnet display. I got the idea from Pinterest and moms using these oil drip pans for their kids magnets.

I have also made a ton more new things, for 2 craft shows, at the end of this month. Dave has helped me make a brand new display, which will allow me to hang the wall items behind and above my tables. PVC is amazing! I am very excited about these shows.

When I didn’t have dogs here, Dave and I took advantage of the time. We have walked a lot of miles, on some beautiful trails, this year and will go into more detail in another post so stay tuned.

And after 2 years of the border being closed, we were finally able to go to Canada, in August, to visit my sister. It was a great trip and I am looking forward to going back next year.

We also went to Long Island, for a weekend, to visit some new found family, which was so great! We also got to see some sites as well. It was both of our first time there and we would love to go back again some time. We stayed at a very nice Airbnb as well.
