Doggy guest #2, Winston

My 2nd four legged and first overnight guest Winston, the Bishon Frise , was dropped off Wed, 5/23rd and picked up today, 5/28th. I am here to report that his stay went very well!

Casey welcomed her with open paws…lol.

Winston was so sweet and such a cuddler! He followed me everywhere I went.

He slept in my bed, which was the first time in my life that a dog slept in my bed. I always had big dogs and would never let them sleep in my bed. It was my only hair-free zone. But I could not say no to this adorable baby.

He learned how to use the pet door, to go outside, by watching Casey do it a couple of times.

It was also the first time, I walked 2 dogs at a time and that got easier as the days went on.

The owners were so sweet and wrote me this review;

“Lynne was perfect for our last minute dog sitting needs over a big holiday weekend! She sent us lots of adorable pictures of our fur baby and kept us very updated on how he was doing! Her house and yard was the perfect size for our dog, and she is also super sweet and a huge animal lover. I would recommend her 100% to watch your pup, and we will definitely be using her again as our dog sitter. Thank you Lynne for giving us peace of mind while we were away!”

I was so touched when I read it.

Tomorrow, another perspective client is coming to meet Casey and I, to see if we are good fit for their dog and if so, that dog will be staying here next weekend, so stay tuned….

Also, this weekend, I managed to get out to honor some fallen vets and see some beautiful flowers.

I went to the Boots on the Ground Memorial at Roger Williams Park in Providence RI. Thank you to those who have served and still serve our country.

Also, I stopped by the Arboretum also at Roger Williams Park.

Ever though the weather was up and down,  it was a really good weekend. Hope you all had a good holiday as well.
