Another senseless tragedy

I have experienced a lot of loss and sadness in my life and this past weekend, my family was hit again.

One of my nephews, only 20 years old, died due to a car accident 2 days ago. Such a tragedy. He had an argument with his girlfriend and got in his car to come home. He was driving on a highway and took a curve in the road too fast and lost control of the car, hit the guard rail, flipped twice and was ejected from the vehicle.

A life cut way too short.

My nephew was a really great young man. He was an only child. He loved baseball and was a really great pitcher. He was really good looking and popular with the girls. He was sweet and sensitive. He will be missed so much by so many.

I am so worried about my sister, his mother, and how she will ever get through this. Yes, she has all of us, a very big family, around her, but I can not begin to imagine what she is going through, since I do not have any children.

We all went with her to the funeral home to make all the arrangements. I have never done that before and it was absolutely horrible.

Life is so short. Hug your loved ones whenever you get the chance. Tell your loved ones that you love them. If you have issues, work them out. Take advantage of every day.
